Antonella Randazzo
Baby conditioning. How to get aware of the psychological effects of advertisments, television and videogames on our children.
Children habits and interests have dramatically changed due to tv programs, computers and videogames. Parents, educationalists and teachers are getting ingreasingly concerned about the severe psychological effects of the media on children. How are the media influencing our kids? What are the effects of media manipulation on children's behaviour? How are "bombing" advertisments affecting your child's personality? What are the negative effects of videogames? Answers to such questions are provided in this book, as well as useful tools for parents and teachers who intend to protect their children form the "media assault".
Antonella Randazzo graduated in Philosophy and taught History and Educational Sciences in Pavia. She is now involved in human rights defence and pedagogy. She also wrote: "In Africa Andammo", "Gli Orrori negati dell'Africa italiana" (Bonanno Edizioni, 2005), "Roma predona", "Il colonialismo italiano in Africa, 1870-1943" (Kaos Edizioni, 2006) and "Dittature" (Il Nuovo Mondo Edizioni, 2007). In 2006, her essay on Africa "Se il futuro è nero. L'Africa che nessuno racconta" won the Ibiskos literary award.
